Authentication
SRS uses vCenter Server SSO it is registered to as Identity and Authentication Server. SRS does not apply any role-based access control to its features. Any vSphere user that can authenticate in vCenter Server SSO can access the SRS feature. SRS establishes PowerCLI connections to vCenter Servers on behalf of the authenticated user. PowerCLI scripts run on behalf of the authenticated user.
