Get-Org Command | Vmware PowerCLI Reference

Get-Org

This cmdlet retrieves cloud organizations. If you are connected as a cloud administrator, the cmdlet retrieves all organizations in the cloud. If you are connected as an organization user, the cmdlet retrieves your organization.

Syntax

Get-Org

Parameters

  • wildcards
 Specifies the names of the cloud organizations you want to retrieve.
optional Server CIServer[] named
  • wildcards
 Specifies the cloud servers on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of Connect-CIServer.

Specifies the IDs of the cloud organization you want to retrieve. Note: When a list of values is specified for the Id parameter, the returned objects would have an ID that matches exactly one of the string values in that list.

 Specifies the cloud servers on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of Connect-CIServer.

Examples

Example 1 

Get-Org -Name Organization1

Gets an organization by name. You must be connected as a cloud administrator.

Get-Org -ID $organizationId

Gets an organization by ID. You must be connected as a cloud administrator.
