Move-VMHost

This cmdlet moves hosts to the location that is specified by the Destination parameter. To specify a server different from the default one, use the Server parameter.

  • Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is provided or $null value is passed to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of Connect-VIServer.

    Example 1

    Move-VMHost 192.168.112.113 -Destination Datacenter

    Moves the host with IP address 10.23.112.113 to a different datacenter named Datacenter.
