Get-VasaProvider

This cmdlet retrieves the list of VASA providers that are currently registered with Storage Manager.

Syntax

    SwitchParameter named Synchronizes the providers before retrieving data. The operation is synchronous.

  • Specifies the vCenter Server systems on which you want to run the cmdlet. If no value is given to this parameter, the command runs on the default servers. For more information about default servers, see the description of the Connect-VIServer cmdlet.

  • Filters the retrieved VASA providers by the Virtual Volume (vVol) storage containers. You can retrieve the storage container objects by using the Get-VvolStorageContainer cmdlet.

    Example 1

    Get-VasaProvider -Name "MyProvider"

    Retrieves all VASA providers named "MyProvider".

    Example 2

    Get-VasaProvider -Name "MyProvider" -Refresh

    Synchronizes the providers and retrieves the VASA provider named "MyProvider".

    Example 3

    Get-VasaProvider -Id "MyProviderId"

    Retrieves all VASA providers with an ID set to "MyProviderId".
