Remove-VsanDisk

This cmdlet removes the specified hard disks from the specified vSAN disk group.

Syntax

-VsanDisk  <VsanDisk[]>
[-DataMigrationMode  <VsanDataMigrationMode>]
[-RunAsync]

Parameters

  • Specifies the hard disks you want to remove.

    DataMigrationMode
    VsanDataMigrationMode named Specifies the action pertaining to vSAN data when the disk is removed. If not specified, the default value is Full.

    RunAsync
    SwitchParameter named Indicates that the command returns immediately without waiting for the task to complete. In this mode, the output of the cmdlet is a Task object. For more information about the RunAsync parameter run "help About_RunAsync" in the VMware PowerCLI console.

    Removes the $vsanDisk vSAN disk without asking for confirmation.
