Linux Docker Engine

  • v1.0 - 12/3/2016:  Initial release.
  • v1.1 - 12/8/2016:  Fixed inconsistency in the Configure phase for docker.conf.

This software blueprint is designed to install the Docker engine on a Linux blueprint and enable the remote API on port 2375. It pulls and installs the Docker engine from the public Docker repo, so Internet access is required. It has been developed and tested on CentOS 7 and vRealize Automation 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2. Using this software component in your blueprints requires the vRA guest agent and application agent, and the vRA Enterprise license.

NOTE:  There is a separate blueprint for Photon OS available here.
