Wizards

vSphere Client uses Clarity wizards. If you are migrating from vSphere Web Client (Flex), you'll notice that wizards have an improved experience.

Guidelines

Follow the Clarity guidelines for designing your wizard.
Clarity recommends using two to ten steps in a wizard.
Use strong verb or noun phrases for step names.
Putting "Select" in front of every phrase only gives the user an extra word to read.
Ensure introductory text adds meaning.
The text below the page title, if used, should set context and not simply repeat the step name or page title.
For wizards of four or more steps, use the last step to review user-entered data.
