Selection

The UI has primary and secondary selection colors, and each has two states: hover and selected.

The primary color (dark blue) is used in the Navigator trees, menus, and table of contents (in tabs, wizards, and multipage dialogs).

The secondary color (light blue) is used in the Global Sidebar, datagrids, list boxes, and UI controls other than trees and menus.

Selection Within the Navigator

The Navigator uses the primary or secondary selection color, depending on the context.

The primary color is used at the top levels of the Navigator when it shows  items such as Tags, Search, and categories of objects. Here the background of the Navigator is grey.

The primary color is used within the object inventory for the selection of objects.  The Navigator uses a white background in the inventory.

The secondary color is used within an object for selection of categories of related objects.
